Program Manager

Zachary Piper Solutions is hiring a Program Manager to assist the Space Systems Command MilComm & PNT Directorate in managing the full lifecycle of space-related programs — from research and development to production, operations, and maintenance — by providing comprehensive acquisition and program management support based in El Segundo, CA.

Responsibilities of the Program Manager include:

• Help improve how the organization runs by reviewing and integrating technical program documents across the enterprise.
• Ensure databases are properly developed, documented, and supported to meet mission needs and acquisition goals.
• Assist with all stages of budgeting and planning to help manage programs effectively across the organization.
• Create clear and concise reports, including summaries, updates, and evaluations that show how programs are performing.
• Oversee research projects to ensure findings are accurate, reports are complete, and reviews follow the planned schedule.
• Organize and manage leadership visits, making sure all paperwork and logistics are handled correctly and on time.

Qualifications for the Program Manager include: 

• 8+ years of experience managing aerospace programs for DoD customers.
• 10+ years of relevant experience, including work with defense or aerospace programs.
• Advanced technical and analytical knowledge of MilComm and PNT systems.
• Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Strong understanding of MilComm and PNT satellite and ground systems.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, especially in fast-paced environments.
• Ability to maintain a professional presence during meetings and briefings with senior leadership.
• A master’s degree in business, management, or engineering is a plus.

Compensation for the Program Manager include:

• Salary: $130,000 - $160,000
