Sr. Appian Developer- Remote

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Senior Appian Developer to join a government consulting team supporting the USDA through a 100% remote work environment. The Senior Appian Developer will support a small, agile team implementing the Appian GAM (Government Acquisition Management) module, contributing to a fast-paced federal project.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Appian applications, including workflows and interfaces.

• Support implementation of the GAM module (prior experience is a plus but not required).

• Collaborate with a small team (~10 members) in an agile environment to deliver high-quality solutions.

• Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, and client demos.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Appian functionality and performance.

• Work closely with federal stakeholders and AFS technical leads.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of relevant development experience, including Appian and general software development.

• Strong understanding of Appian process automation, Agile methodologies, and problem-solving in technical environments.

• Experience with Appian design, web development, and integration.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

• Ability to work EST hours (9–5) in a fully remote setting.

Compensation:

• Salary Range: $120,000- $130,000 depending on experience
