Senior ServiceNow Developer (TS/SCI with CI Poly)

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to join a National Security Contract located in Aurora, CO through 100% full onsite presence. The Senior ServiceNow Developer will design, develop & deploy ServiceNow solutions, including custom applications, workflows, & integrations, while collaborating with stakeholders, ensuring secure & efficient code migration within a complex software development environment.

Responsibilities of the Senior ServiceNow Developer include:

1. Develop and Enhance ServiceNow Solutions
2. Build and improve applications using core ServiceNow platform capabilities, including workflows and service catalog items.
3. Custom Development and Integration
4. Perform custom scripting and integrate third-party tools to meet client-specific requirements.
5. Testing and Deployment
6. Conduct unit testing, resolve code defects, and migrate changes to production environments.
7. Technical Design and Documentation
8. Assist in creating technical designs and maintain documentation to support development and deployment processes.
9. Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement
10. Work closely with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure solutions align with business needs and technical standards.
11. Best Practices Implementation
12. Identify and apply best-practice approaches to optimize performance, maintainability, and scalability of ServiceNow solutions.

Qualifications of the Senior ServiceNow Developer include:

• Bachelor’s degree or 4 additional years of software development experience
• Minimum of 5+ years in software development, including 2+ years on large, complex projects
• Hands-on experience developing Service Catalog items and workflows within the ServiceNow platform
• Certified ServiceNow Administrator (CSA) preferred
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language such as JavaScript, Python, Ruby, Perl, or Bash
• DOD 8570 IAT Level II Certification (e.g., Security+ CE) or ability to obtain within six months
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to present solutions clearly and collaborate effectively
• Logical problem-solving approach and organizational follow-through
• Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph clearance required

Compensation for the Senior ServiceNow Developer includes:

• Salary Range: $145,000-$155,000 **depending on experience**
