Senior Electronics Technician

Zachary Piper Solutions is looking for a skilled Senior Electronics Technician to support a federal program specializing in the integration of advanced electronic security technologies out of Norfolk, VA. ***Must have an ACTIVE TS/SCI w CI Polygraph***

Responsibilities of the Senior Electronics Technician:

·       Perform field installations, system upgrades, and troubleshooting of electronic security and IT systems

·       Conduct site assessments and assist in the planning and execution of infrastructure deployments

·       Configure and test hardware/software components to ensure optimal system performance

·       Lead or support commissioning activities, manage network configurations, including switches, servers, and programmable devices

Qualifications of the Senior Electronics Technician:

·       3+ years of experience in electronic systems installation and maintenance

·       Strong understanding of security technologies including video surveillance, access control, and IDS

·       Background supporting federal programs

·       Familiarity with IT networking, cable management, and system integration

·       Valid driver’s license and passport required.

·       Industry certifications or technical training in electronics or related fields preferred

·       Must have an ACTIVE TS/SCI Clearance w/CI Polygraph

Compensation of the Senior Electronics Technician:

·       Salary: Up to $120,000  annually *commensurate of experience*
