a System Architect – TS/SCI CI Poly

Zachary Piper is seeking a System Architect – TS/SCI CI Poly in Reston, Virginia area. The System Architect – TS/SCI CI Poly will support a government-focused technology organization in classified environments. The ideal candidate for the System Architect – TS/SCI CI Poly role will have extensive experience designing, implementing, and securing scalable systems in compliance with federal standards. The System Architect – TS/SCI CI Poly must hold an active Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) clearance with Counter-Intelligence Polygraph (CI Poly) and be a U.S. citizen as defined by 32 CFR Part 117 NISPOM. The System Architect – TS/SCI CI Poly position is onsite in a SCIF position in Reston, VA – 5 days a week onsite.

Responsibilities for the System Architect – TS/SCI CI Poly include:

·      Architect and implement secure, scalable systems for U.S. Government classified environments

·      Lead container orchestration efforts using Kubernetes

·      Automate operating systems and infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Terragrunt

·      Administer and secure cloud environments, particularly AWS

·      Ensure compliance with NISPOM and ICD guidelines

·      Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support secure deployments and system patching

Requirements for the System Architect – TS/SCI CI Poly include:

·      Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph

·      Proven experience as a System Architect in classified environments

·      Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services

·      Expertise in Terraform, Terragrunt, or similar IaC tools

·      Security+ or equivalent DoD 8570/8140 certification (e.g., CISSP, CISA, GSEC, CAP, SSCP)

·      Must be eligible to work in the United States

Compensation for the System Architect – TS/SCI CI Poly:

·      $160,000–$190,000 annually
