Consulting Engineer (Splunk) - TS/SCI

Zachary Piper is seeking a Consulting Engineer (Splunk) - TS/SCI in the Oakton, Virginia area. The Consulting Engineer (Splunk) - TS/SCI - will support secure government environments with a focus on Splunk dashboard creation, log analysis, and backend optimization. The Consulting Engineer (Splunk) - TS/SCI is onsite in Oakton, VA five days a week.

Responsibilities for the Consulting Engineer (Splunk) - TS/SCI  include:

·      Operationalize and visualize network insights in Splunk

·      Create and tune alerts to escalate incidents to the Network Operations and Security Center (NOSC)

·      Build custom dashboards for real-time situational awareness

·      Mentor junior team members on Splunk and traffic analysis best practices

·      Document monitoring and troubleshooting processes

·      Assist with backend improvements for Splunk infrastructure as needed

Requirements for the Consulting Engineer (Splunk) - TS/SCI include:

·      Active TS/SCI clearance

·      Strong background in Splunk (dashboard creation, log review, backend optimization)

·      Ability to work onsite in Oakton, VA five days a week

·      Must be eligible to work in the United States

Compensation for the Consulting Engineer (Splunk) - TS/SCI :

·      $297,440–$323,440 annually

·      Full comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and sick leave as required by law
