Splunk Engineer - TS/SCI

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Splunk Engineer – TS/SCI to support a mission-critical initiative with an organization in Oakton, Virginia. The Splunk Engineer – TS/SCI is a 6-month role onsite (Monday–Friday) focused on operationalizing network insights and enhancing real-time visibility through Splunk.

Responsibilities for the Splunk Engineer – TS/SCI include:

• Operationalize and visualize network insights in Splunk
• Create and tune alerts to escalate incidents to the Network Operations and Security Center (NOSC)
• Build custom dashboards for real-time situational awareness
• Mentor junior team members on Splunk and traffic analysis best practices
• Document monitoring and troubleshooting processes
• Assist with backend improvements for Splunk infrastructure as needed

Requirements for the Splunk Engineer – TS/SCI include:

• Active TS/SCI clearance
• Ability to work onsite in Oakton, VA (Monday–Friday)
• 5+ years of Splunk expertise
• Hands-on experience with Splunk, including dashboard creation and alert tuning
• Strong documentation and mentoring skills
• Must be eligible to work in the United States

Compensation for the Splunk Engineer – TS/SCI includes:

• Salary: $130,000 - $170,000
