Mission Integrator Engineer

Zachary Piper Solutions is currently seeking a Mission Integrator Engineer who will support a government contract in Arvada, CO.

Responsibilities for the Mission Integrator Engineer:

• Mission Design & Integration: Lead technical integration, assess mission requirements, and ensure seamless deployment of spacecraft, ground stations, and cloud infrastructure.
• Customer Engagement: Serve as the technical point-of-contact during onboarding, coordinate reviews and readiness milestones.
• Systems Engineering: Develop interface control documents (ICDs), verify requirements, and support cross-team coordination.
• Mission Readiness: Conduct simulations, training, and early orbit support; create support plans and resolve anomalies.

Qualifications for the Mission Integrator Engineer:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Aerospace, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Experience: 5+ years in space systems engineering or mission integration; experience with spacecraft ground systems and satellite operations.
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of cloud-based ground systems, automation, scripting (Python, Bash), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and AWS GovCloud.
• Clearance: Active TS/SCI required.

Compensation for the Mission Integrator Engineer:

• $120,000 – $170,000 *Depending on Experience.
• Per Diem included lodging, food and a car allowance
• Cigna Medical, dental, vision, Holidays, 401k, PTO and Sick leave as required by law
