Network System Administrator

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Network System Administrator to support operations at Fort Rucker, Alabama. This position is fully onsite and requires an active Secret clearance.

Responsibilities of the Network System Administrator

• Administer daily operations of a network/server environment
• Install, configure, and maintain system software
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues
• Plan and implement upgrades, patches, and new installations
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery, security, and backup/restore plans
• Evaluate new technologies to enhance network efficiency and performance

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in networking/network management or related field
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Active Secret clearance
• IAT Level II Certification (one of the following):
  • Security+ CE
  • CCNA-Security
  • CySA+
  • GICSP
  • GSEC
  • CND
  • SSCP
• Juniper Networks Certified Associate – Junos (JNCIA-Junos) or equivalent
  • Can be obtained within 90 days of employment
• Cisco Certifications (any of the following or equivalent):
  • 350-801 CLCOR
  • Cisco Certified Specialist – Collaboration Core
  • 300-815 CLACCM
  • Cisco Certified Specialist – Collaboration Call Control & Mobility Implementation

Compensation for Network System Administrator:

• Salary Range: $70,000 - $75,000 (based on experience)
