Network System Administrator

Zachary Piper Solutions is a government contracting company that provides technological services for the federal government, specializing in cybersecurity, intelligence, and IT. Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an onsite Network System Administrator to support operations at Fort Novosel, Alabama. The Network System Administrator will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing network and server environments, ensuring secure and efficient system performance. This role requires an active Secret clearance.

Responsibilities for Network System Administrator:

• Administer daily operations of network/server environments
• Install, configure, and maintain system software and hardware
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues
• Plan and implement upgrades, patches, and new installations
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery, security, and backup/restore plans
• Evaluate new technologies to improve network efficiency
• Collaborate with departments to support application and system needs
• Provide technical support and guidance to team members

Required Qualifications for Network System Administrator:

• 4+ years of experience in networking or network management
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Active Secret clearance
• One of the following IAT Level II Certifications:
  • CCNA-Security
  • CySA+
  • GICSP
  • GSEC
  • Security+ CE
  • CND
  • SSCP

Compensation for Network System Administrator:

• Salary Range: $65,000 to $85,000
