Lead Network Engineer

Zachary Piper Solutions is currently seeking a Lead Network Engineer who will support a position in Rockville, MD.

Responsibilities for the Lead Network Engineer:

·      Experience leading a team of network engineers and working directly with client counterpart

·      Experience with NetScaler Citrix – (A Must)

·      Expert with Cisco switches network software upgrades

·      Troubleshoot complex network issues (Expert)

·      Vulnerability Remediation Process

·      Update technical documentation, maintaining & implementation of the SOP for network security (A Must)

·      Cisco IPsec VPN troubleshooting

·      Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)

·      SolarWinds automation scripts

·      Cisco ASA Firewall 5500 / Firepower (A Must)

·      Palo Alto Firewalls Panorama

·      Willing to work after hours and weekends during maintenance windows (Onsite) on-need basis (A Must)

·      Azure experience with NSGs (Networking)

·      Analyzing PCAP Files using Wireshark

·      LAN, WAN, Wireless, and various network technologies

·      TLS certificates renewals and installs

·      Troubleshooting using Riverbed, Splunk, and other tools as available

Qualifications for the Lead Network Engineer:

·      Cisco ASA Firewall 5500 / Firepower +NetScaler Citrix

·      Cisco switches network software upgrades

·      Troubleshot complex network issues (Expert)

·      Update technical documentation, maintaining & implementation of the SOP for network security (A Must)

Compensation for the Lead Network Engineer:

• $160,000 to $185,000 *Depending on Experience
• Cigna Medical, dental, vision, Holidays, 401k, PTO and Sick leave as required by law
