Production Supervisor

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Production Supervisor to support the manufacturing of complex systems for our constellation of telecommunications satellites. This role is based fully on-site in Midland, TX, and will play a key part in ensuring quality, efficiency, and leadership across satellite assembly operations.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise satellite mechanical and electrical assembly operations.
• Oversee personnel to ensure products meet quality, cost, and schedule expectations.
• Maintain 6S standards and overall shift effectiveness.
• Conduct employee training and process audits to support departmental goals.
• Motivate and engage employees while fostering trust and collaboration with management.
• Partner with other supervisors and managers to resolve operational and performance issues.
• Support the achievement of operational metrics and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience supervising teams of 10 or more employees.
• Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities to motivate and build trust.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or a related technical field.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Experience directly supervising manufacturing operations and personnel.

Compensation and Benefits:

·        $85,000 - $110,000 **depending on experience**
