Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Electromagnetic Test and Evaluation Engineer in Huntsville, AL

Responsibilities of the Electromagnetic Test and Evaluation Engineer include:

·        Collaborate within a multi-organizational engineering team to meet complex, often unique test requirements.

·        Contribute to the design and execution of electromagnetic test programs for aerospace systems and components.

·        Engage in travel to other EM labs, industry partners, conferences, and national symposiums to support program initiatives.

·        Define and validate requirements for electromagnetic testing hardware and systems.

·        Develop integrated hardware/software architectures for complex test platforms.

·        Conduct trade studies, modeling, and simulations to optimize design and predict performance.

·        Design and execute testing procedures aligned with customer specifications.

·        Support lifecycle engineering through anomaly analysis and performance troubleshooting.

·        Operate electromagnetic test equipment independently and confidently.

·        Interface with internal teams and external stakeholders to fulfill testing objectives.

·        Diagnose and resolve technical anomalies, improve processes, and effectively communicate solutions.

Qualifications for the Electromagnetic Test and Evaluation Engineer include:

·        Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.

·        1+ years of hands-on lab experience with electromagnetic systems.

·        Academic or industry exposure to RF system theory and practice.

·        Ability and willingness to travel domestically as required.

·        DoD Secret or higher

·        Hands-on experience with radar/RF hardware and test instrumentation (e.g., Oscilloscopes, VNAs, Spectrum Analyzers).

·        Working knowledge of Digital Signal Processing (DSP), FPGA logic design, and Linux OS.

·        Proficiency in software environments including LabVIEW, MATLAB, Python, and C++.

·        Experience in embedded systems programming and debugging.

 

Compensation for the Electromagnetic Test and Evaluation Engineer include:

·        Salary: $100,000-$115,000 **Depending on Experience and Education Level**
