Senior Cloud Solutions Architect *TS/SCI Required

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a highly experienced Senior Cloud Solutions Architect to support a Department of Defense (DoD) program out of San Antonio, TX. The Sr Cloud Solutions Architect will be responsible for designing and deploying secure, scalable cloud environments tailored to mission needs.

Responsibilities of the Senior Cloud Solutions Architect:

·       Architect and implement cloud-based solutions that meet DoD security and performance standards

·       Evaluate and enhance existing cloud infrastructure to ensure compliance, reliability, and efficiency

·       Design cloud environments for diverse applications, ensuring seamless integration across security domains

·       Provide expert-level guidance on AWS services such as Kubernetes, EKS, Lambda, and related tools

Qualifications of the Cloud Solutions Architect:

·       10+ years of hands-on experience with AWS (including container and microservices)

·       2+ years of experience with DoD cloud deployments

·       Experience designing and deploying cloud environments

·       Strong experience with AWS technologies and cloud architecture

·       Proficiency in hybrid deployments using VMs, OVAs, EC2, and Kubernetes

·       IAT II Certification Required (AWS Solutions Architect, AWS DevOps Engineer, AWS SysOps Administrator, AWS Advanced Networking, etc.)

·       Must have ACTIVE Top Secret/SCI clearance (required)

·       Bachelor’s degree in related field (Master’s degree preferred, not required)

Compensation of the Cloud Solutions Architect:

•          Salary: Between $160,000 - $190,000 based on years of relevant experience
