Systems Engineer

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Systems Engineer.  In this role, you’ll be instrumental in developing and maintaining cutting-edge communication networks to support a DOD Airforce Program. This position is fully on-site in Hampton, VA and has Top-Secret Level Clearance.  

Responsibilities of the Systems Engineer include: 

• Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure. 
• Ensure performance, security, and reliability of networks. 
• Troubleshoot complex network issues. 
• Provide technical guidance and support. 
• Implement and manage network security (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS). 
• Ensure compliance with data protection and privacy standards. 

Qualifications for the Systems Engineer include: 

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field. 
• 10+ years of experience in systems or network engineering. 
•  CompTIA Security+  
• Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility. 

 Compensation for the Systems Engineer include: 

Salary Range: $160,000 – $200,000 (based on experience)
