IT Specialist Senior

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an IT Specialist Senior to join a DoD program supporting the USMC in Indianapolis, Indiana. The IT Specialist Senior will work to monitor, troubleshoot, integrate, and maintain the IT architecture and assist with security support to operate all mission critical programs.

Responsibilities of the IT Specialist Senior include:

• Maintain and manage the Point of Presence (PoP) systems of the DOD networks including firewalls, routers, switches, and encryption devices

• Resolve network infrastructure issues, perform routine maintenance, respond to security vulnerabilities, and assist with EOL and DMRO activities

• Use Change Management Processes to execute hardware software modifications 

• Manage and resolve tickets using BMC Remedy

• Provide network infrastructure and security support to operate and defend the DOD Enterprise Network

Qualifications for IT Specialist Senior include:

• 7-10+ years of IT experience in Network Administration, Switching, Routing, and Troubleshooting

• Active IAT II Certification: CompTIA Security+, CCNA Security, CySA+, or equivalent/higher

• Active Secret Clearance 

Compensation for the IT Specialist Senior include:

• Salary Range: $60,000-100,000 ***Depending on Experience***
