Structural Design Engineer

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Structural Design Engineer out of Greenville, SC. The Structural Design Engineer is responsible to provide essential technical knowledge and engineering efforts for structural builds supporting a federal end-client.

Responsibilities of the Structural Design Engineer includes:

• Analyze nand recommend techincal solutioning of structural build supporting DoE's nuclear security and environment remediation enterprise.
• Perform and check engineering analyses and calculations including material specification, systems and equipment; and solve technical engineering issues.
• Utilize structural design software such as STAAD, STADDPro and RISA3D
• Utilize Mathcad for design

Qualifications for the Structural Design Engineer includes:

• 3-10+ years of structural design engineering
• Structural engineering for nuclear facilities is highly preferred
• A bachelors degree in electrical engineering is required
• A baseline understanding of federal (DoE) and state code applicable to engineering design
• Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is required

Compensation for the Structural Design Engineer includes:

• Salary: $100,000 - $150,000 **depending on experience**
