Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an Oracle DevSecOps Engineer to support the US Department of the Treasury TCloud enterprise cloud development effort. This role is fully remote. This effort aims to facilitate holistic multi-cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, OCI and GCP) to meet the Department of Treasury’s enterprise-wide infrastructure needs. We are looking to hire a talented DevSecOps Engineer to support the O&M team responsible for the design, implementation, and management of Oracle Cloud solutions.
Responsibilities:
· Implementing best practices to operate and maintain resilient secure Oracle Cloud environments, to enable development teams to deliver features in the most efficient way possible.
· Maintain ongoing development of automation and continuous build/integration/deployment infrastructure for multiple environments; write, build and deploy scripts.
· Assist in the operation and maintenance of the OCI cloud environment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and SRE principles.
· Enable observability and resilience throughout multi-cloud landing zones and Dev/Test/Prod environments.
· Ensure security and compliance standards are met across all OCI deployments.
· Continuously assess, onboard, and enable new FedRAMP cloud services using security best practices for IAM and networking.
· Collaborate with cross functional teams to assist with the implementation of cloud architecture best practices.
Requirements:
· Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience. 8 Years of Experience in Lieu of a degree.
· Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance to start.
· Proven background working in cloud environments with experience and knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
· Agile methodologies including Scrum or Kanban
· Agile collaboration tools such as Atlassian Jira, Confluence
· CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Bitbucket, Artifactory)
· Oracle OCI certified or equivalent years of experience working with Oracle cloud services
· Oracle PeopleSoft and PeopleTools experience preferred but not required.
· Strong knowledge and understanding of Oracle cloud concepts (Compartments, Identity Domains, Dynamic groups, etc.)
· Containerization and container management with Kubernetes and Helm
· PowerShell or Bash Scripting
· Cyber tools - Aviatrix, Orca, Splunk, Qmulous, STIG scanner
· Terraform, Ansible, Oracle Stacks
· Git, branching strategies, GitFlow and/or GitHub Flow
· Cloud high availability and scalability best practices and architectures
Compensation:
$115,000k -125,000k**depending on experience and degree**
