Infrastructure Operations Engineer

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an Infrastructure Operations Engineer. This job is located in Washington D.C. and will be On-Site. The Infrastructure Operations Engineer will be responsible for maintaining, supporting, and improving enterprise collaboration, reporting, authentication, and infrastructure platforms across the organization. This is an exciting opportunity to work with SharePoint, Azure, Power BI Report Server, SQL Clusters, ADFS, and Windows Server technologies in Washington D.C. supporting the DOJ.

REQUIRES ACITIVE TS/SCI CLEARANCE

Responsibilities of the Infrastructure Operations Engineer include:

• Administer and support SharePoint environments, including on-premises, Azure, and SharePoint Online platforms, while managing security, governance, and performance.
• Maintain Power BI Report Server, SQL clusters, ADFS, and Windows Server environments through monitoring, troubleshooting, patching, and operational support.
• Support Azure services, hybrid cloud infrastructure, identity management, storage solutions, and cloud-connected applications.
• Respond to operational issues, support compliance and ATO remediation efforts, and ensure system availability, security, and reliability.
• Participate in upgrades, migrations, documentation, and infrastructure enhancement projects while collaborating with security, networking, development, and data teams.

Qualifications for the Infrastructure Operations Engineer include:

• Bachelor's Degree
• 5+ years of experience administering SharePoint environments, including on-premises, Azure, and SharePoint Online.
• 3+ years of experience supporting patching, security hardening, compliance remediation, and enterprise infrastructure operations.
• Advanced experience with Microsoft SharePoint, SharePoint Online Administration, Azure Administration, and Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS).
• Experience administering Power BI Report Server, including report deployment, data source management, and performance monitoring.
• Knowledge of SQL Server, failover clusters, Windows Server administration, and troubleshooting enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Experience supporting Azure services, hybrid cloud environments, identity solutions, and infrastructure modernization initiatives.

Compensation for the Infrastructure Operations Engineer include:

• Salary Range: $130,000 - $167,000
• Comprehensive Benefits: Cigna Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave if required by law, and Holidays
