Secure Flight Lead

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an experienced Secure Flight Lead to support a mission-critical federal DHS program in the Annapolis Junction, MD area. The Secure Flight Lead will manage infrastructure and migration projects and guide a technical team supporting DHS systems.

Responsibilities of the Secure Flight Lead:

·      Lead cross-functional teams (network, RHEL, DevOps, data, Windows, MQ, Telephony)

·      Manage system migrations with minimal downtime

·      Provide strategic direction for upgrades and performance improvements

·      Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to meet compliance standards

·      Apply ITIL v4 practices to enhance service delivery

·      Ensure adherence to federal security and governance policies

Qualifications of the Secure Flight Lead:

·      12+ years of hands-on technical experience in IT infrastructure or related

·      4+ years of experience leading technical teams across multiple disciplines

·      Proven experience with large-scale system migrations, including large-scale system transitions/technology upgrades

·      ITIL v4 certification

·      Experience working with DHS agencies such as TSA, CISA, ICE, CBP

·      Strong background in cloud, automation, and emerging technology

·      Preferred Certifications: PMP, CISSP, AWS Solutions Architect

·      Must have an Active Secret Clearance

Compensation of the Secure Flight Lead:

·      Salary: Between $160,000 - $180,000 based on years of relevant experience
