BUR Administrator

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Backup and Recovery (BUR) Administrator to support a mission-critical DHS federal program out of Annapolis Junction, MD. The BUR Administrator will manage and maintain storage infrastructure for mission critical federal systems.

Responsibilities of the BUR Administrator:

• Administer and support SAN and storage systems
• Monitor performance and optimize storage throughput
• Work with Fibre Channel, RAID, and storage virtualization
• Use tools like EMC Unisphere and IBM Storage Manager
• Provision and allocate storage resources
• Implement storage security (access, encryption, data protection)

Requirements of the BUR Administrator:

• 7+ years of experience in a Storage Administrator role or in a related role
• 5+ years of experience in Tivoli (required)
• Must be willing to work rotating shifts in a 24x7x365 environment
• Experience administering/supporting SAN and storage systems
• Fibre Channel, RAID, storage virtualization, EMC Unisphere, IBM Storage Manager experience
• Must have an Active Secret Security Clearance

Compensation of the BUR Administrator:

·      Salary: Between $130,000 - $150,000 based on years of relevant experience
