Penetration Tester

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Penetration Tester to support a Cyberspace Test Squadron fully onsite at Eglin AFB, FL, OR Peterson SFB, CO This role involves conducting advanced cybersecurity testing and vulnerability assessments in support of Department of Defense (DoD) systems. This position requires an active Secret clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct independent penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and cybersecurity evaluations
• Develop and implement test tools and strategies for DoD cybersecurity testing
• Perform system security analysis to identify and exploit vulnerabilities in software and systems
• Execute hands-on testing across multiple operating systems (Windows, Linux, Unix) and platforms (e.g., Apache, SQL Server, Oracle)
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to penetration testing teams
• Collaborate with DoD Program Offices to scope, plan, execute, and report on penetration testing activities
• Document and present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 3-10+ years of experience
• Active Secret clearance
• Active IAT III certification (CISSP, CISM, CASP+)
• Experience with web application testing and exploitation
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in team environments
• In-depth knowledge of Windows and Linux (including Kali) operating systems

Compensation and Benefits:

·        $115,000 - $130,000 **depending on years of experience**
