Senior Database Architect - Top Secret

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Senior Database Architect to support an Air Force program on a fully remote basis. The current team has been performing on this contract for 30+ years. The Senior Database Architect will bring expert-level Oracle database experience and a strategic approach to architecture and lifecycle management.

Responsibilities of the Senior Database Architect:

• Design, develop, and oversee secure, high-performing Oracle database solutions.
• Lead technical teams and mentor junior database developers.
• Facilitate enterprise workshops and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Support the full lifecycle of database architecture and administration.
• Work with Oracle APEX, OEM, GoldenGate, REST Data Services, and WebLogic Server.
• Perform advanced SQL and PL/SQL development and performance tuning.
• Operate in Linux environments with Oracle on Linux-based platforms.

Qualifications of the Senior Database Architect:

• 10+ years of experience in Oracle database architecture, development, and administration.
• Expert-level proficiency with Oracle RDBMS (preferably 19c).
• Strong experience with Oracle APEX, OEM, GoldenGate, REST Data Services, and WebLogic Server.
• Advanced SQL and PL/SQL skills.
• Experience with Linux OS and Oracle on Linux platforms.
• IAT Level II or III certification required.
• Current DoD successfully adjudicated T5 investigation (Top Secret clearance most commonly, full clearance not required).

Compensation of the Senior Database Architect:

• Salary: $125,000 - $135,000/year *flexible based on experience*
