VOIP Engineer

Zachary Piper Solutions is currently seeking a VOIP Engineer who will support a government contract located in Honolulu, HI.

Responsibilities for the VOIP Engineer:

·       Design, deploy, and maintain VoIP systems including PBX (on-premise or cloud), softphones, and SIP trunks.

·       Monitor, analyze, and optimize VoIP call quality, latency, jitter, and packet loss.

·       Configure and support VoIP devices, gateways, SBCs (Session Border Controllers), and QoS (Quality of Service) policies.

·       Integrate VoIP systems with other platforms (CRM, helpdesk, call recording, etc.).

·       Manage and troubleshoot issues related to SIP, RTP, codecs, and network infrastructure.

·       Collaborate with IT and network teams to ensure voice traffic stability and redundancy.

·       Maintain documentation of network configurations, call flows, and voice system architecture.

Qualifications for the VOIP Engineer:

·       2 to 3 years of relative experience

·       Clearance: Secret

·       Security Plus

·       Experience working with CISCO

Compensation for the VOIP Engineer:

• $140,000 – $150,000 *Depending on Experience.
• Cigna Medical, dental, vision, Holiday, 401k, PTO, and sick leave as required by law
