System Administrator

Zachary Piper Solutions is currently seeking a System Administrator who will support a government contract in Fairfax, VA..

Responsibilities for the System Administrator:

• Implement secure system designs using best practices in software and systems engineering.
• Provide end-to-end IT support in secure lab environments, from desktops to servers.
• Manage system access, patching, and release planning for hardware/software.
• Support classified networks and ensure compliance with security standards.
• Administer and maintain Linux and Windows systems, including virtualized environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues; automate tasks using scripting (e.g., PowerShell).
• Integrate and maintain applications and infrastructure in accordance with RMF/JSIG standards.

Qualifications for the System Administrator:

·       3 to 10 years of relative experience

·       Clearance: TS/SCI with CI poly

·       Certifications: Security plus

·       Strong background in Linux and Windows OS installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.

·       Hands-on experience with IT hardware, networking equipment, and HPC systems.

Compensation for the Sr. System Administrator:

• $110,000 – $2000,000 *Depending on Experience.
• Cigna Medical, dental, vision, Holidays, 401k, PTO and Sick leave as required by law
