Cyber Analyst (TS/SCI - CI Poly - Night Shift)

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a skilled Cyber Analyst to support a 24/7 Security Operations Center (SOC) for an Intelligence Community customer in Aurora, Colorado. In this role, you will play a critical part in identifying, analyzing, and responding to cyber threats in a dynamic and mission-focused environment. This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph and is 100% onsite.

Location: Aurora, Colorado

Shift: Wed-Sat 10PM-8AM (3rd shift)

Key Responsibilities:

• Detect, identify, and report potential cyber intrusions, anomalous activity, and misuse
• Analyze network traffic and system data to identify threats and vulnerabilities
• Correlate security events and incidents using data from multiple enterprise sources
• Perform cyber incident triage, including scope, urgency, and impact assessments
• Recommend remediation actions and track incidents from detection to resolution
• Assess damage to data and infrastructure resulting from cyber incidents
• Conduct trend analysis and reporting on cyber incidents

Core Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of additional cyber experience in lieu of degree
• 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems
• Experience with COTS technologies used in SOC environments
• Knowledge of current cybersecurity technologies, principles, and protocols
• CSSP-IR certification (e.g., CEH, CySA+)
• IAT Level II certification, including one of the following: Security+ CE, GSEC, SSCP, or CCNA-Security
• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with threat intelligence and vulnerability management
• Understanding of the MITRE ATT&CK framework
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and cloud-specific security challenges

Compensation:

Salary: $90,000 - $100,000 (based on experience and education)
