ServiceNow Developer

Job Summary:

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a ServiceNow Developer to join our team on a hybrid basis in Ashburn, VA (2x on-site/a week). As a ServiceNow Front-End Developer, you will be a key member of the engineering team by supporting all software development activities under the direction of the Software Engineer Lead. You will work within our agile software development process and have an important impact on the features and services provided.

Responsibilities of the ServiceNow Developer:

·      Collaborate with team members and internal stakeholders to define and document development requirements and the scope of new development requests.

·      Assist in the release of applications through research, technical analysis, design, development, testing, documentation, and troubleshooting.

·      Analyze, design, and develop business applications on a distributed, cloud-based enterprise-level platform.

·      Develop across web technologies such as Java, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS (Bootstrap).

·      Design and implement responsive web software applications within the ServiceNow Platform.

·      Create applications using web application tools like JSON, SQL, AJAX, HTML, XML, and CSS.

·      Perform advanced scripting of business rules, UI Policies, Client Scripts, ACLs, Workflow Activities, etc.

·      Facilitate and support the rollout of new applications and enhancements in ServiceNow.

·      Develop web services in JavaScript for API.

·      Create new features within client instances using XML, workflow, and other related technologies and tools.

·      Interact with Technical Advisors and deployment project managers to understand conceptual design and technical requirements.

·      Design reports and dashboards.

Qualifications of the ServiceNow Developer:

• 4+ years of hands-on Front- End development experience to include ServiceNow
• 3+ years of experience in writing modular, object-oriented JavaScript
• 3+ years of experience in modern UI technologies like HTML5, CSS3, DOM, Ajax
• 3+ years of experience with web application development JSON, AJAX, CSS, XHTML, and XML on a Java / JavaScript Stack
• 2+ years of database experience with the following: SQL, T-SQL, MySQL, SQL SSRS
• 1 year of experience to one or more client side MVC/MVVM frameworks, preferable AngularJS, or Bootstrap.
• Bachelor's degree in the field of computer science, engineering, information technology or similar related field 
• All candidates must be eligible to obtain a DHS Security Clearance

Compensation of the ServiceNow Developer:

• Salary: $130,000 - $150,000 (based on relevant experience)
