Your Role

As an integral part of our small, close-knit team, you’ll contribute to the development of cutting-edge radar technologies, rapidly executing proof-of-concept prototyping projects. We’re driving multiple prototype radar systems toward critical flight testing and eventual deployment.

  • Design, assemble, integrate, and test radar transmit arrays and receivers.
  • Select and test analog components such as amplifiers, mixers, oscillators, and filters.
  • Create and evaluate custom PCB designs for optimal performance.
  • Conduct subsystem and system-level testing using vector network analyzers, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators.
  • Collaborate with mechanical and DSP engineers, ensuring seamless integration.
  • Learn and apply radar array calibrations, intellectual property protection, and high-performance radar design.

Who We’re Looking For

This junior to mid-level position requires an exceptional level of technical ingenuity, intellectual curiosity, and hands-on expertise with high-frequency electronics (2-25 GHz).

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Physics or Electrical Engineering (OR 5+ years of radar component/subsystem design experience).
  • Strong expertise in RF test equipment (VNA, oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, AWG).
  • U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.

Required Skills & Attributes:

  • Technical excellence in one or more areas:
  • PCB, multi-chip module, or integrated microwave assembly design
  • RF component selection, design, and testing (mixers, filters, oscillators, amplifiers, etc.)
  • Implementation of DSP algorithms on FPGA or RFSoC/RFSoM
  • Proven ability to adapt to complex technical challenges with minimal guidance.
  • Strong hands-on skills, demonstrated through a portfolio or past projects.
  • Intellectual curiosity, willing to step outside comfort zones frequently.
  • Self-directed problem-solving, with initiative in identifying solutions.
  • Effective collaboration, thriving in a multidisciplinary team setting.
  • Desire to work at the cutting edge of radar technology and defense innovation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of radar and communication waveforms
  • Experience with cascade analysis, link budgeting, and radar-specific RF components
  • Ability to interface effectively with government customers
  • Skill in linking low-level tasks to high-level system objectives
  • Hands-on testing experience with RF systems in challenging environments
  • Understanding of RF systems for SWaP-C constrained interceptor platforms

Compensation:

  • Competitive Salary Range up to $200,000 based on your experience and skills.
  • Comprehensive Benefits: Enjoy medical, dental, vision, Paid Time Off (PTO), sick leave, 401k, and holiday benefits.
