Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Top Secret cleared Operations Research & Systems Analyst to work at the intersection of modeling, simulation, and mission analysis to deliver data-driven insights on the value and effectiveness of multi-domain systems in contested environments. You can work either in our Reston, VA office or our Colorado Springs, CO.
Program Overview:
10-year contract named Hemisphere, awarded by U.S. Space Force’s Space Systems Command (SSC). This contract provides advisory, and assistance services focused on weapons systems advancing Space Domain Awareness and Combat Power (SDACP) and Battle Management, Command, Control, and Communications (BMC3).
Through expert support in acquisition, cybersecurity, logistics, contracting, intelligence, and operational readiness, our team will drive critical capabilities for SSC and its mission partners, empowering the U.S. Space Force to maintain a dominant edge in the space domain
General Duties:
- Conduct mission-level modeling, simulation, and vignette-based analysis of space and multi-domain concepts.
- Evaluate advanced U.S. capabilities against projected adversary threats using parametric studies and architectural tradeoffs.
- Translate complex analysis into actionable recommendations to inform acquisitions and operational strategies.
- Lead the development and application of model-based systems engineering (MBSE), DOTmLPF-P analysis, and physics-based wargaming.
- Oversee and implement policies and standards for study execution and ensure regulatory and security compliance.
Required Skills:
- Master’s degree in Operations Research, Statistics, Systems Engineering, or related analytical field with 7+ years of experience in DoD, IC, or related technical industries, including 3+ years in a SAP and/or SCI environment.
- Must have an in-scope security background investigation (T5 or SSBI), adjudicated for SCI eligibility and enrolled in the Continuous Evaluation program (if applicable) and hold a current Polygraph security clearance.
- Strong experience with modeling and simulation, process optimization, decision analysis, and multi-variate analysis.
- Understanding of U.S. military operations, campaign-level analysis, operational planning, and acquisition processes.
Compensation:
- Salary Range: $150,000 - $200,000 (compensation varies on position and relevant years of experience and education)
- Benefits: Cigna medical, dental, vision, 401k, 20 days paid time off, 11 federal holidays, and sick leave as required by law
