Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Top Secret cleared Acquisitions Associate with backgrounds in National Security Space to join our SETA team in El Segundo, California. For this effort we are providing programmatic and technical advisory services to the United States Space Force's Space Systems Command and Space Operations.
Program Overview:
10-year contract named Hemisphere, awarded by U.S. Space Force’s Space Systems Command (SSC). This contract provides advisory, and assistance services focused on weapons systems advancing Space Domain Awareness and Combat Power (SDACP) and Battle Management, Command, Control, and Communications (BMC3).
Through expert support in acquisition, cybersecurity, logistics, contracting, intelligence, and operational readiness, our team will drive critical capabilities for SSC and its mission partners, empowering the U.S. Space Force to maintain a dominant edge in the space domain
General Duties:
· Provide expert space acquisition, engineering, operations, and technical advice and assistance across all stages of the acquisition life cycle.
· Supporting program acquisition efforts for advanced technology, future concept development, and integration activities.
· Advising and assisting the Government on critical cost, schedule, and performance matters.
· Revising or drafting JCIDS and acquisition documentation
· Preparing draft SME-level technical and/or programmatic status reports for individual programs or the portfolio, as requested by the Government program manager.
Desired Skills:
· Bachelor’s degree or master’s Degree and 5-10 or more years of experience
· Must have an Active Top-Secret clearance (SCI Eligible).
· Knowledgeable in acquiring classified space control systems
· Knowledgeable in developing and coordinating all activities and documents required to support major technical reviews
· Knowledgeable in developing and coordinating all activities and documentation required to support a major systems acquisition strategy, solicitation, and source selection
· Demonstrates ability to develop, update, and coordinate ACAT-like program documentation
Compensation:
- Salary Range: $130,000 - $180,000 (compensation varies on position and relevant years of experience and education)
- Benefits: Cigna medical, dental, vision, 401k, 20 days paid time off, 11 federal holidays, and sick leave as required by law
