Zachary Piper Solutions is currently seeking TS/SCI cleared Sr. Space Logistics Specialists to support our new 10 year-long Space Force contract known as Hemisphere in El Segundo, California. The Hemisphere's mission is to provide Space Systems Command and Space Domain Awareness & Combat Power with SETA and A&AS support to activities related to the acquisitions of space systems pertaining to the space control.

Job Type: Full-time - SETA - 10 year contract

Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI

Responsibilities:

  • Establish comprehensive product support strategies aligned with DoD acquisition frameworks throughout the system lifecycle.
  • Identify and operationalize infrastructure, sustainment processes, and frameworks for high-reliability space systems and components.
  • Integrate systems engineering design attributes (RMAS) with the 12 Integrated Product Support (IPS) Elements for informed decisions on manpower, maintenance planning, training, and supply chain architecture.
  • Develop and execute procurement and budgeting strategies for long-term logistics and readiness objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to create logistics supportability assessments, define Performance-Based Logistics (PBL) frameworks, and ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead efforts to integrate logistics planning into early design phases using tools such as Failure Mode, Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Life Cycle Cost (LCC) modeling, and Logistics Support Analysis Records (LSAR).

Qualifications:

  • An active TS/SCI clearance w/ SAP
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field with 5-15 years of experience with DoD acquisition frameworks, ensuring logistics considerations are embedded throughout the system lifecycle—from requirements definition to system disposition
  • Experience supporting DoD logistics duties either as a contractor, government civilian, or through service
  • Experience supporting Air Force and or Space Force Program Management Offices
  • Experience with integrating the 12 product support elements, procurement and budgeting strategy into logistics activities needs to sustain system fielding

Compensation:

  • Salary Range: $160,000 - $230,000 (based on experience).
  • Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401k, 20 day paid time off, 11 federal holidays, and sick leave.
