Network Engineer (Secret Clearance)

Zachary Piper Solutions is currently looking for a Network Engineer to support an Airforce program on-site in Fairchild AFB, WA. The Network Engineer will need expert level understanding of Cisco and Juniper technologies and assist in training base personnel.

Qualifications for the Network Engineer include:

• A minimum of 6 years experience as a senior level network engineer
• Maintain a current Cisco Certified Network Processional (CCNP) Enterprise (formerly Routing & Switching) 
• Juniper Network Certified Internet Associate (JNCIA) or higher 
• Must possess qualifications/certifications compliant with the DoD 8140.01 
• Recent (within the past four years) experience in planning, preparing, implementing, testing, troubleshooting, and documenting equipment/circuits transitioned to a Juniper infrastructure 
• Must demonstrate the ability to work with the Forescout platform 
• Must demonstrate advanced knowledge for using/maintaining the Junos Space platform. 
• Must possess the ability to work on classified networks 
• Security+ or equivalent for IAT LEVEL II 
• Must be eligible to work in the United States and obtain and maintain an Active U.S Government Secret Clearance.  

Preferred Qualifications for the Network Engineer include:

• Experience in the following technology is desired
  • Network Professional Level Routing & Security, Wireless Technologies, IPv6 and dual stacked environments, Solar Winds Network Management and monitoring tools, Junos Space Network Management and monitoring tools, Enterprise level circuit diversity, disaster recovery, and redundancy, Comply to connect technology, Cryptographic devices, Voice over Internet Protocol (IP) technology 

Compensation for the Network Engineer include:

• Salary Range: $130,000 - $150,000 *depending on experience*
