Research Security and Supply Chain Risk Advisor

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Research Security and Supply Chain Risk Advisor to support R&D project focused on public health initiatives. This is a senior level position supporting a team focused on program security aspects. This position is primarily remote, with some support on-site in Northern Virginia. The Research Security and Supply Chain Risk Advisor will support an ARPA program. 

Responsibilities for the Research Security and Supply Chain Risk Advisor include:

• Support the COO and directorates with R&D program security, including processes, reviews, and risks. 

• Prepare reports, briefs, and documentation to convey risk findings to internal and external stakeholders.

• Analyze supply chain risk assessments of suppliers including primes, subs, vendors, and associated products.

• Utilize the R&D lifecycle, knowledge of unwanted technology transfers, and the stages of research development and investment to provide expertise on security threats and trends. 

Qualifications for the Research Security and Supply Chain Risk Advisor include:

• 7+ years of experience with supply chain risk assessments

• Experience supporting R&D programs/initiatives and analyzing research security

• Experience with the R&D lifecycle

• Bachelor's Degree 

• Active Public Trust 

Compensation for the Research Security and Supply Chain Risk Advisor include:

• Salary Range: $120,000-150,000 **depending on experience**
