VmWare Consultant

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a VCF Consultant in Dahlgren, VA to assist a Navy customer by providing expert guidance and support in the implementation, configuration, and optimization of VCF and related products. You will work closely with customers to ensure their infrastructure is running smoothly and efficiently, addressing any issues that arise and providing proactive solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and manage VMware Cloud Foundation and VMware Cloud Foundation Operations.
• Optimize infrastructure costs through effective show-back strategies.
• Manage capacity to ensure optimal resource utilization.
• Diagnose and remediate issues within the VCF environment.
• Utilize VMware Cloud Foundation Operations for Logs to enhance log management and analysis.
• Oversee the lifecycle management of VMware Cloud Foundation.
• Provide technical knowledge and expertise in the usage, installation, configuration, and administration of VMware products and technologies.

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in VCF Operations and related VMware products.
• Proven ability to optimize infrastructure costs and manage capacity.
• Familiarity with VMware Cloud Foundation Operations for Logs and Lifecycle Manager.
• Relevant certifications in VMware Cloud Foundation and related technologies are a plus.
• Must maintain an active Secret security clearance

Compensation Package:

·        Salary range: 160k-180k
