Systems & Network Administrator (Top Secret)

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking multiple Systems and Network Administrators to provide support to a Space Systems Verification and Test team in El Segundo, CA. This position will focus on the deployment, automation, and readiness for Special Test Equipment in factory and launch environments.

Location: El Segundo, CA (On-site)

Job Type: Full-time - shift work 1-3 options

Responsibilities:

• Provide factory floor support for multiple programs, including defining and documenting test setups, deploying test software and configurations, troubleshooting, communicating/coordinating program requests, and supporting team requests to improve effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity.
• Develop, implement, and sustain tools that enable product security requirements.
• Utilize agile methodologies to plan, execute, and track product security tasks.
• Develop and enhance system requirements and architectures for product security to meet all applicable certification and customer requirements.
• Configure and ensure security of facilities, equipment, tools, data, networks, and resources used for product design, development, build, test, storage, delivery, operations, and support.

Qualifications:

• Must possess a DoD issued Top Secret Clearance
• Bachelor’s degree with 5 - 9 years of experience in Systems and or Network Administration
• Current CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Current CompTIA Network+ certification.
• Experience with operating systems: Windows Server, RedHat Enterprise Linux, Oracle Enterprise Linux, and Cisco IOS.
• Experience with VMWare Virtualization.
• Experience with enterprise storage.

Preferred Qualifications:

• ITIL 4 certification.
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification.
• Experience in satellite test and STE operations readiness.
• Experience in cyber security.
• Experience with RedHat and Oracle Linux servers, Windows XP – Windows 7, 10, 11 OS, and network-based storage systems.
• Experience certifying PTEX (Payload Test Executive) and MTEX (Modular Test Executive) test servers.
• Experience certifying Automated Test Controller (ATC) server and client.

Compensation:

• Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000 (based on experience).
