Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Network Engineer to join a Federal Program located in Raleigh, NC. The Network Engineer will configure and manage DNS servers, zones, and records while ensuring DNS resolution is reliable and responsive.


Responsibilities of the Network Engineer:

  • Implement DNS security measures such as DNSSEC and DDoS protection.
  • Maintain DHCP servers and address pools.
  • Monitor and manage IP address assignments and lease durations.
  • Troubleshoot DHCP issues and optimize address allocation.
  • Perform IP address planning, allocation, and tracking.


Qualifications of the Network Engineer:

  • Experience with DDI platforms, Preferably BlueCat
  • Proficiency in DNS, DHCP, and IP address management principles and protocols.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in troubleshooting network issues.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, encryption protocols, and security best practices.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent experience
  • Certification in networking technologies (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+).



Compensation for the Network Engineer:

  • Salary Range: $140,000+ *flexible based on experience*
