Network Engineer

Zachary Piper Solutions is currently seeking a Hybrid Network Engineer who will support a government contract located in Raleigh, NC.

Responsibilities for the Network Engineer:

·       Collaborate with network engineers and administrators to integrate DDI services with the network infrastructure.

·       Troubleshoot network connectivity issues related to DNS and DHCP services.

·       Participate in network design and optimization projects.

·       Implement and enforce security policies for DNS, DHCP, and IPAM services.

·       Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and industry standards.

·       Perform IP address planning, allocation, and tracking.

·       Manage IP address space and subnets using IPAM tools.

·       Ensure accurate IP address utilization and reporting.

Qualifications for the Network Engineer:

• 5 years of relevant experience
• Experience with DDI platforms, Preferably BlueCat
• Proficiency in DNS, DHCP, and IP address management principles and protocols.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in troubleshooting network issues.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, encryption protocols, and security best practices.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Compensation for the Network Engineer:

• $130,000 – $150,000 *Depending on Experience.
• Cigna Medical, dental, vision, Holiday, 401k, PTO, and sick leave as required by law
