Network Engineer

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network Engineer to join a federal program based out of Raleigh, NC on a hybrid basis. The Network Engineer will join a team providing network technologies and infrastructure, ensuring always-on, always available systems to our employees, customers, and 32,000 sites. This position requires eligibility for a Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities of the Network Engineer:

• Configure and manage DNS servers, zones, and records.
• Maintain DHCP servers and address pools.
• Perform IP address planning, allocation, and tracking.
• Collaborate with network engineers and administrators to integrate DDI services with the network infrastructure.
• Implement and enforce security policies for DNS, DHCP, and IPAM services.

Qualifications of the Network Engineer:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with DNS, DHCP, and IPAM management.
• Proficiency in DNS, DHCP, and IP address management principles and protocols.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent experience.
• CCNA, Network+ certifications preferred
• Must be eligible to obtain a Public Trust.

Compensation for the Network Engineer:

• Salary: $110,000-145,000/year *flexible based on experience*
