Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Test and Evaluation Engineer to join a federal program that's fully onsite at Hill AFB, Utah. This position will require the candidate to be able to obtain a Secret clearance.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Participate in gathering and analyzing requirements for test measurement systems.
  • Assist in the development of test procedures, instrumentation, and configuration definition to perform tests within the constraints of the test plan.
  • Develop solutions to calibration systems problems.
  • Perform data analysis, develop and utilize data processing tools.
  • Design simple component-level hardware or software.
  • Use analytical tools to verify the design.
  • Verify collection of complete data sets.
  • Maintain test logs, prepare simple test reports, and archive data.
  • Work under direct supervision.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • General knowledge and proficiency in the operation, integration, installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of automatic test equipment (and associated software, Test Program Sets (TPS), and programming codes).
  • Design component and sub-assembly level hardware or software as specified by the Statement of Work.
  • Use analytical tools to verify the design.
  • Assist in coordinating the manufacture and assembly of test hardware.
  • General knowledge across a wide range of radiation effects and electronic, electrical, software engineering disciplines (e.g., analog and digital circuit design, electromagnetic interference (EMI) and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) electrical design, embedded software, and microprocessor-based system designs).

Required Skills:

  • General knowledge of test support equipment (Oscilloscopes, power supplies, etc.).
  • General knowledge of microelectronics and their performance in a radiation environment.
  • General knowledge of electrical principles.

Compensation:


  • $80,000-105,000 **depending on experience and education**
  • Full benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, and sick leave if required by law)
