Test Engineer (TS/SCI)

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Test Engineer to provide support to the United States Space Force Headquarters Space Operations Command (USSF HQ SpOC) at Peterson SFB in Colorado Springs. The Test Engineer will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) representing HQ SpOC Delta12 and effectively interface with the mission team in test development activities.

Location: Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI - SAP (Must be willing to be nominated for access to Sensitive Compartment Information and Special Access Programs and willing to consent to a Polygraph examination.)

Responsibilities for the Test Engineer includes:

• Provide research and analysis support for the assessment of current orbital warfare capabilities and the development of current and future programs
• Develops solutions to complex problems, which require the regular use of innovation ensuring solutions are consistent with organizational requirements
• Ability to integrate and assess analysis on adversary capabilities and impact to current and future operational programs
• Ability to work with government customer and service members on test activities for specialized systems needs
• Ability to define test parameters and requirements

Qualifications:

• Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelor’s Degree and at least 10+ years of related space operational experience
• Strong presentation skills and experience interfacing with senior government officials
• Experience with space weapon systems test engineering

Compensation:

• Salary range: $140,000 - $175,000 (based on years of experience and other factors)
