Forward Deployed Engineer

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to join a Federal Program located in Denver, CO. The Forward Deployed Engineer will ensure successful mission management software implementations through deep understanding of the software and on-the-fly problem solving.

Responsibilities of the Forward Developed Engineer:

• Embed directly with our customers to configure Quindar’s existing software platforms to solve their toughest problems
• Rapid-prototypeing new product functionality to get quick and robust user feedback
• Educate customers on how to use Quindar software: what it can do, tuning, customizing rules, and driving customer-specific automations
• Technical troubleshooting based on Quindar logs to quickly reach resolution
• Understand customer challenges intimately and act as a key liaison between the customer, and Quindar’s customer success and product teams to.

Qualifications of the Forward Developed Engineer:

• A degree in Aerospace engineering or 5 years equivalent experience
• 5+ years experience in full stack development with a focus on customer-facing roles
• Proficiency in Python
• Experience writing React components in Typescript and using React frameworks like Next.js, Refine (or Blitz.js / RedwoodJS)
• Basic understanding of networking topologies and protocols (e.g. cloud connectivity to on-prem hardware, UDP v. TCP, etc.)
• Experience developing containerized applications and hosting in Kubernetes and/or cloud-native architects

Compensation for the Forward Developed Engineer:

• Salary Range: $160,000+ *flexible based on experience*
