Senior Cloud Engineer - TS/SCI

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to join a Federal Program located in Lorton, VA. The Senior Cloud Engineer will use cutting-edge cloud and data technologies to streamline services to our clients.

Responsibilities of the Senior Cloud Engineer:

• Perform the Enclave Administrator (EA) role on behalf of the Customer, including deployment and maintenance of Mission Enclave infrastructure and all application-related responsibilities on Mission Enclave environment.
• System health monitoring include Azure Solution System Health, Program Application availability, and Capacity Management.
• Work closely with Customer as shared technical lead. Enable development, analysis, and deployment to be delivered on schedule and in line with Customer requirements.
• Complete regular maintenance on all systems / applications. This includes regular patching and vulnerability remediation and addressing end of service/end of life replacements
• Analyze technical requirements and develop effective solutions.

Qualifications of the Senior Cloud Engineer:

• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent industry work experience)
• 8+ years of experience in systems engineering
• As a condition of employment, the candidate must acquire a CompTIA Security+ (or higher level security certification) within the first 30 days of hire.
• Azure Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevSecOps experience (Bicep, ARM, PowerShell, CLI)
• Experience within C4 networks / operating environments and SAP networks / operating environments preferred.
• Experience in one, or more, of the following: Cloud technologies, data and AI, security, business application design and implementation.

Compensation for the Senior Cloud Engineer:

• Salary Range: $160,000+ *flexible based on experience*
