PaaS Lead

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a PaaS Lead to join a National Security Contract located in Colorado Springs, CO through 100% full onsite presence. The PaaS Lead will design, build, and maintain a cloud-based platform as a service offering.

Responsibilities of the PaaS Lead include:

• Oversee the build and design of a scalable PaaS environment on a RHEL and OpenShift Container Platform
• Streamline and optimize the platform by automating scripts and tools
• Implement security measures and conduct cybersecurity assessments
• Work with DevOps teams and IT professionals to integrate cloud solutions effectively

Qualifications of the PaaS Lead include:

• 10+ years of experience in cloud programming and optimizing
• OpenShift experience - Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration, Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA,)
• Experience with VMware, vCenter, Kickstart, Puppet, Foreman, and CIS-CIT
• Experience with DevOps tools, implementing Infrastructure as Code within RHEL containers
• Proficient with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, IBM NetCool and Solarwinds
• Expertise in cloud platforms like AWS and Azure
• Active secret clearance

Compensation for the PaaS Lead includes:

• Salary Range: $100,000-$110,000 **depending on experience**
