HBSS Engineer - TS Cleared

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a HBSS Engineer to join a Federal Program located in Washington, DC. The HBSS Engineer will provide support for facilitating and identifying current security infrastructure and define future programs, administration and implementation of firewall and other related security issues on systems.

Responsibilities of the HBSS Engineer:

• Provides support to plan, coordinate, and implement the organization’s information security.
• Provides support for facilitating and identifying current security infrastructure and define future programs, administration and implementation of firewall and other related security issues on systems.

Qualifications of the HBSS Engineer:

• 5+ years of IT Security experience with recent engineering expertise with HBSS tools
•  A working knowledge of several of the following areas is required:
  • Understanding of business security practices and procedures
  • Knowledge of current security tools available
  • Hardware/software firewalls and there implementation
  • Different communication protocols
  • Encryption techniques/tools
  • Familiarity with commercial products, and current Internet/EC technology
•  Bachelor's Degree preferred; can be substituted with an additional 2+ years related experience.

Compensation for the HBSS Engineer:

• Salary Range: $150,000+ *flexible based on experience*
