Quality Control Technician

Zachary Piper Solutions is currently seeking a Quality Control Technician who will support a government contract located in Falls Church VA.

Responsibilities for the Quality Control Technician:

·       Performs receiving, in-process, and final inspection on all materials, detail components, hardware, and assemblies to ensure product compliance to all customer purchase order, engineering, IPC Standards and quality requirements.

·       Interprets customer specifications, purchase orders and blueprints to determine part conformity requirements. Perform dimensional inspection on parts and assemblies using a variety of measuring equipment, inspection setups and techniques.

·       Approve or reject raw materials with respect to quality standards and record supplier performance, ensuring product complies with the Customer requirements.

·       Familiar with First Articles in accordance with AS9102 requirements.

·       Records, documents, and manages all non-conforming material following established procedures. Assists in determining root cause(s) of non conformances and determining effective corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Qualifications for the Quality Control Technician:

·       Be able to pass a background check

·       2+ years of Related experience

·       Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy; results-driven with organizational, time management and follow-up skills.

·       Good Communication Skills and Writing skills

Compensation for the Quality Control Technician:

• $55,000 – $70,000 *Depending on Experience.
• Cigna Medical, dental, vision, Holiday, 401k, PTO, and sick leave as required by law
