Splunk Engineer - Secret Clearance

Piper Companies is seeking a Splunk Engineer - Secret Clearance for a growing organization located in the Raleigh, North Carolina area. The Splunk Engineer - Secret Clearance is a hybrid position working onsite in Raleigh a couple days a week. A successful candidate for the Splunk Engineer - Secret Clearance role will possess a versatile technology background with extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing Splunk solutions.

Responsibilities for the Splunk Engineer - Secret Clearance include:

• Serve as the primary architect for all Splunk-related solutions.
• Design and implement Splunk infrastructure, including data ingestion, indexing, and visualization.
• Develop and maintain Splunk dashboards, reports, and alerts to meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders within the business, IT, and Engineering to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Ensure the scalability, performance, and security of Splunk deployments.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Requirements for the Splunk Engineer - Secret Clearance include:

• Active Secret Security Clearance (Must be eligible to work in the United States)
• Over 5 years of professional experience in Splunk architecture and administration.
• Strong background in designing and implementing Splunk solutions, including data ingestion, indexing, and visualization.
• Experience with Splunk Enterprise Security (ES) and IT Service Intelligence (ITSI) is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or relevant work experience.

Compensation of the Splunk Engineer - Secret Clearance:

• $130,000 - $145,000 annually
• FTE position, Full Comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave as required by law
