Datacenter Engineer (DCE)

Zachary Piper Group is seeking a Datacenter Engineer (DCE) to join an innovative, connected, secure, and transformative company located in Raleigh, NC through a Remote M-F work schedule. The Datacenter Engineer (DCE) will provide exceptional support to internal clients, who in turn deliver outstanding service to their external customers.

Responsibilities of the Datacenter Engineer (DCE) include:

• Manage multiple network tasks like installing, setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting routers, switches, and firewalls in a busy environment.
• Demonstrate strong teamwork skills while also excelling in independent tasks.
• Manage and maintain both Linux and Windows systems, ensuring their interaction within the networked compute environment.

Qualifications for the Datacenter Engineer (DCE) include:

• Experience with DIACAP, NISPOM, and ICD rules.
• Experience with McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator, centralized logging products (e.g., Splunk), COMSEC and encryption technologies, administering cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google, etc.), and administering Jira.
• Familiar with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, WSUS, Windows Server 2016/2019, and Windows 10.
• Experience with VMware's vSphere.
• Skilled in updating systems and fixing security issues.
• Have one or more of these certifications: CISSP, Security+, CISA, GSEC, CAP, SCNA, SCNP, SSCP, GSLC, GSE.
• Must have an active Top Secret/SCI security clearance with a Counterintelligence Polygraph.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Compensation for the Datacenter Engineer include:

• $115,000 - 140,000                        
• Comprehensive benefit package: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Holiday, PTO, and Sick Leave if required by law.
