Capacity Planning Engineer

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Capacity Planning Engineer to support a CDM program located in Fairfax, VA. This is a hybrid job opportunity with on-site work 2 days/week. The Capacity Planning Engineer will develop and maintain the program capacity plan and oversee financial budgeting and cost analysis for system capabilities.

Responsibilities for the Capacity Planning Engineer include:

• Develop and manage capacity plans reflecting current state deployments.
• Perform cost estimations for the systems.
• Present capability presentations to customers.
• Evalute system designs, develop models and estimates, and apply techniques.

Required Qualifications for the Capacity Planning Engineer include:

• 8+ years of experience with Capacity Planning
• Experience with managing financial interests, doing cost analysts, and analyzing system capabilities.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, and building cost plans
• Ability to go through Public Trust process
• Bachelor's Degree

Compensation for the Capacity Planning Engineer include:

• Salary Range: $110,000-140,000 **depending on experience**
