Network Engineer

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Network Engineer to support a newly awarded program with installation & maintenance of network systems, applications, security, & configurations within a government customer’s physical/network infrastructure. This will be a multi-year contract with long term stability and growth for someone that is looking to start their government career or continue it in a new home! The ideal candidate must be in Albany, GA to work onsite (Every other Friday off).

Responsibilities of Network Engineer:

• Creates, Maintains, administers, computer networks & relating computing environments for Azure Cloud Projects
• Perform Disaster Recovery Operations & Data Backups
• Creates & Maintains documentation as it relates to network configuration, network mapping, processes, & service records
• Perform all network administration and maintenance of designated physical/virtual company networks required to meet company business requirements

Requirements of Network Engineer:

• A Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or relevant field
• 4+ years of experience with Network Engineering
• Experience working in a Microsoft Azure Cloud Environment
• Must possess one of the following:
  • CompTIA Security+, CCNA, A+, Network+, SSCP, or CND
• Must be able to obtain & maintain an Active US Government Secret Clearance

Compensation:

·      Salary: 100k-113k with PTO & Paid Holidays
