Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an Electrical Engineer to assist a client with the design and testing of a communications system for a Naval Aircraft. This individual would be involved with projects focused on design development, testing of advanced electrical systems for defense and government applications. This position that will be ONSITE 5 days a week in Fall’s Church, VA.
Responsibilities of Electrical Engineer:
- Responsible for troubleshooting electrical issues, ensuring system safety, reliability, and compliance with specifications.
- Create Electrical Schematics/Systems using tools like Altium & relay knowledge of programming languages such as C/C++ or VHDL to the software development team
- Diagnosing issues in existing systems and conducting tests to validate performance against supportability.
- Identifying Potential Risks in designs and planning for maintenance & supportability.
- Provide expertise in PCB, digital logic, analog, digital audio circuits.
Qualifications of Electrical Engineer:
- 3+ years of experience with Circuit Design & Analysis
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
- Experience with Schematic Capture Programs (Altium)
- Troubleshooting experience with a variety of different circuit boards
- DOD Background preferred, but open to all industries
Compensation of Electrical Engineer:
- Salary: 120k-150k with PTO & Federal Holidays
